1. What Synora Is

Synora is a local-commerce platform that connects customer requests with nearby merchants through web interfaces and WhatsApp. Customers describe what they are looking for — in a web chat or over WhatsApp — and Synora helps match that request with real products from participating merchants.

This policy explains what information Synora processes, why, who it may be shared with, and how you can exercise your rights over it.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you interact with Synora, we may process:

  • Customer messages and product requests — the text you send when searching for a product or asking a question, whether in the web chat or over WhatsApp.
  • WhatsApp identifiers and phone numbers — when you contact Synora through WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp phone number and message identifiers as provided by the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, so we can reply to the correct conversation.
  • Merchant and catalog information— product names, prices, stock levels, categories, and descriptions supplied by merchants, together with the merchant's business name and general location (district).
  • Conversation history — the sequence of messages in a conversation, stored so replies stay consistent across multiple turns and so a request can be reviewed if something goes wrong.
  • Technical information — request metadata such as timestamps, delivery/status codes from messaging providers, and application logs used to operate and troubleshoot the service.

Synora does not currently process payment card data. Reservations created through the platform are demo reservations — see Section 4 and the Terms of Service for details.

3. Why We Process This Information

  • Providing product search and customer assistance in response to your messages.
  • Matching customers with merchants who have relevant, in-stock products.
  • Creating demo reservations when you ask to reserve an item.
  • Improving the reliability of the service and preventing abuse, such as detecting malformed or excessive requests.

4. Demo Reservations

A "demo reservation" created through Synora does not charge you and is not a confirmed purchase. It does not involve payment processing. Final availability, price, and any real transaction must be confirmed directly with the merchant.

5. Service Providers We Use

Synora relies on the following third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate. Each processes information only to the extent necessary to provide its service to Synora:

  • Meta WhatsApp Cloud API — used to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
  • Railway— hosts Synora's backend application and database.
  • Vercel— hosts Synora's website and web chat front end.
  • PostgreSQL / database infrastructure — stores conversations, catalog data, and related records.
  • DeepSeek — when AI-assisted conversation generation is enabled, message text is sent to DeepSeek to generate a reply. If DeepSeek is not configured or unavailable, Synora falls back to a deterministic, non-AI response drawn directly from catalog data.

6. We Do Not Sell Personal Data

Synora does not sell your personal data to third parties, and does not share it for third-party advertising purposes.

7. Data Minimization and Retention

We aim to process only the information reasonably necessary to operate the service described above. Conversation and request data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain reliability, and meet the purposes described in this policy, after which it is deleted or anonymized unless a longer retention period is required for security, dispute resolution, or a legal obligation.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we process, including restricting access to production systems to authorized personnel and using established third-party infrastructure providers (Section 5) for hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion or anonymization of your data.
  • Object to or request that we limit certain processing.

See the Data Deletion page for step-by-step deletion instructions.

10. How to Request Access, Correction, or Deletion

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, email us at kydyrbekbekarys44@gmail.com. Please include enough information for us to locate the relevant conversation or record (for example, the WhatsApp phone number used and the approximate date of interaction). Do not include passwords, access tokens, or payment credentials in your request.

11. Contact

Synora operates from Kazakhstan. For any privacy question or request, contact us at kydyrbekbekarys44@gmail.com.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update. Continued use of Synora after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
