Terms of Service

Last updated: August 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Synora — through the website, the web chat, or WhatsApp — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Synora is a local-commerce platform that connects customer requests with nearby merchants through web interfaces and WhatsApp. Customers describe what they are looking for, and Synora searches participating merchants' catalogs to find and describe matching products.

3. AI-Assisted Responses

Synora may use an AI assistant to help generate conversational replies. When enabled, the assistant answers using information retrieved from merchant catalog data; when AI generation is unavailable, Synora falls back to a deterministic response built directly from the same catalog data.

The AI assistant is software, not a human being, and must not be treated as one. It does not have authority to make binding commitments on behalf of a merchant beyond describing catalog data made available to Synora.

4. Product Information and Merchant Data

Product names, prices, availability, composition, and delivery information displayed through Synora are provided by merchants and may change without notice. You must verify current product details, price, and availability directly with the merchant before completing any purchase. Synora is not the seller of record for merchant products.

5. No Guaranteed Match

Synora attempts to match customer requests with relevant, in-stock merchant products, but does not guarantee that every request will result in a match, a reservation, or a completed transaction.

6. Demo Reservations

Where Synora allows creating a reservation, this is a demo reservation: it does not charge the customer and does not process payment. It signals interest in an item to help coordinate with the merchant. Any real purchase, price, and payment must be confirmed directly with the merchant.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Synora only for its intended purpose: finding and requesting real products from participating merchants. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the operation of the service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Synora's systems, other users' conversations, or merchant data.
  • Use the service to send spam, abusive, fraudulent, or harassing messages.
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or business.

8. Intellectual Property

The Synora name, branding, and the software that operates the service are the property of Synora or its licensors. Merchant product content (names, descriptions, images) remains the property of the respective merchant. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any Synora or merchant intellectual property to you.

9. Third-Party Platforms and Services

Synora integrates with third-party platforms and infrastructure, including the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API and cloud hosting providers, to deliver the service. Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's and Meta's own terms and policies. Synora is not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party platforms.

10. Limitation of Liability

Synora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Synora and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including inaccuracies in merchant-provided product data, unavailability of the service, or failed matches. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Suspension of Access

We may suspend or restrict access to the service, in whole or in part, for conduct that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or disrupts the service for other users.

12. Changes to the Service

Synora is under active development. Features, availability, and these Terms may change over time. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Kazakhstan, where Synora currently operates. This does not constitute a representation of any specific legal entity registration.
